Glenn was looking for a logo for his viticultural services that communicated professionalism, innovation, with structural and natural elements. Since he is in the business of consultation, the wind vane arrow is the guiding, structural element that the grape vines grow on. It points East to reference the Mid-Atlantic USA, the area of focus for his services. The grapevine, the natural element, wraps itself around the arrow as it would grow on the trellising, referring back to the  process for which MAVS offers consultation.
