Chieftain Christian Academy is the Christian education ministry of Derwood Bible Church in Maryland.  The purpose of this ministry is to encourage, support and provide required supervision to families of Derwood Bible Church and like minded churches who have chosen to homeschool their children. The client requested a modern, but academic and dignified logo. The approach was to use “CCA” to form an abstract, geometric book and complement it with a classic script and sans serif typeface pair.
